Following a succesful weekend of attending Wedding Fayres in the surrounding area we are pleased to announce the winner of our competion.

Harlequin Hats are proud to be associated with “When You Wish Upon a Star” Children’s Charity. For the duration of 2009 Harlequin Hats will donate £1.00 to “When You Wish Upon a Star”, from every hat hired and £2.00 from every hat purchased, throughout the year to help them to continue to grant wishes.

“When you Wish Upon a Star”

For the past 18 years When You Wish Upon a Star has been granting the Wishes of children across the UK aged between 2 and 16 year old, all of whom have a life threatening illness. The Charity was founded in Nottingham in the East Midlands by our very own Fairy godmother Barbara White OBE.
All children have Wishes, but for these children and their families that Wish is so much more precious. For the duration of their Wish these children are able to forget about hospital routines, doctors appointments and gruelling treatments, and smile, laugh and enjoy life like any other child.
